(a non-profit organization providing parrot rescue, adoption, and education in Connecticut) to help switch parrots from all seed diets to a healthier diet. Then she discovered that rats love her muffins too! We are happy to offer her healthy muffin mix kits for rats. Diane sends out the orders and RATS receives 20% of each sale.
These kits make it easy to bake fresh yummy gourmet treat muffins for your ratties. Each kit comes with a corn meal flour mixture, a little 100% vegetable shortening, 4 delicious gourmet add-ins (dehydrated organic products), and mini-muffin liners.all you add is one egg and ½ cup of liquid such as soy milk or juice, and love. Mix together, drop some batter into each muffin liner and bake on a cookie sheet or two cake pans. You can serve the muffins fresh, let them dry out hard and crunchy, or freeze them for later use. The muffins contain no preservatives and are low in sugar. Each muffin kit yields approx. 30 mouth-watering muffins. We recommend cutting each muffin in half (before drying) and giving a half to each rat once a week or so. Cost per serving: about 13 cents.
